"I'm not an anti-vaxxer but here are some myths about vaccines" line really getting a work out when it comes to children and COVID-19 vaccines

"I'm not a Covid scaremongerer but here are some Guardian stories telling us Covid is equivalent to Ebola and Long Covid is like Long Ebola." These stories might be in people's heads as they decide to vaccinate children.

      That's one dry, dry strawman.

      Tell the Guardian. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2021/jan/28/scientists-liken-long-covid-symptoms-to-those-of-ebola-survivors … https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/apr/29/study-finds-a-third-of-uk-covid-19-patients-taken-to-hospital-are-dying …

Yes Tony. Always go with the words of the science correspondent who works for the guardian, then going with the actual words of a scientist. 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I have to say, it is the first time someone has argued that since the Guardian once published something that wasn't great it means that I personally am wrong. Bizarre non-sequitur

The two newspapers in your profile are the Guardian and Observer, so I associate you with those newspapers that are known to be Covid scaremongerers. If instead you said you contribute to Fox News and Lockdown Sceptics, there would be other inferences. Not a non sequitur.

In a similar vein, you reference John Venn in your profile, and thus I am forced to assume you are an avowed Anglican prosthelytizer. My apologies, but I am not particularly interested in theological debates

An excellent example of a non sequitur.
