Interesting read. I think tough there are so many context specific factors that makes it merely impossible to do these kind of analysis. Breaking deaths down there are so many variable specifics to the epidemiology,individual, context that affect mortality at that time and moment

E.g IFR in Brazil wasn't the same as in Jemen or Norway. Access to care(infrastructure, getting to hospital), quality of healthcare (type of tx, overwhelmed hospitals, quality)type of virus(mutation), age rep in pop,comorbidities,aggressivity of exp.curve,pol.measures etc etc
