Add masks instead of wash our hands advice. Social distancing may not work in enclosed spaces.
But being metabolically healthy and not living with overweight or obesity is probably a good way to reduce your risk right?
Yes I'm confused too. Do you mean the concept of 'boost' for an already 'healthy' person is incorrect rather than there being steps people can take to improve their immune system if obese, vitamin d deficient etc?
Thank you so much for being the voice of reason. These Idiots thinking someone who is very active, gets in the sun, eats whole food, keeps a lean body mass has a better immune system than some obese, McD's eating, couch potato Keeping fighting the fight and thank you
But can't you effectively do so if you have an unhealthy lifestyle including being sedentary, obese, having vitamin d _deficiency_ etc? But already healthy people obviously can't boost their immune system.
Concept of boosting your immune system is clearly rubbish but it's very evident that lifestyle factors play a large role in immunity and infection. Just look at the data on Th1/Th2 response modulation by insulin resistance and Tcell exhaustion by chronic low grade inflammation.
