It's also worth noting that explanation 3 is in some ways worse for the herd immunity by natural infection argument because it means that the disease is rather more severe than many serosurveys implied, and that the herd immunity threshold is well above the low modeled estimates

I wish I could be as certain of these incredibly challenging issues as you

Yeah I’m dismissing your unfounded doomer conspiracy theories about reinfections driving Covid surges making natural herd immunity impossible. As I wrote earlier, this always debunked immunity denying has killed 1000s of people. Enough already, this rhetoric does real damage

Lol. You can't just dismiss things you dislike as conspiracy theories, that's politics not science. You've presented 0 evidence and at this point I'm not even sure you've even understood what I'm saying at all

Now you want evidence to prove a negative? Nope, the burden of proof is on you.

Yeh, like I said I feel like you really don't understand either the underlying argument I'm making or even the evidence itself

Have you read any of the Indian serology data?

I guess that's a no. I'd suggest reading the studies before calling a scenario "debunked" and dismissing it out of hand

No, why would I read the actual serology studies from India? It’s not necessary to in order to call out what you did. You should stop what you’re doing. It’s just wrong. You know damn well that reinfections aren’t driving Covid surges. Alarmism / fear mongering cause extreme harm

You're calling this idea "debunked" without any evidence that it has been. I'm not saying it's definite, but to dismiss the idea out of hand is your own arbitrary decision, not a scientific one
