I don't think it's surprising that COVID-19 denialism has shifted to anti-vaccine rhetoric, because if you consider the risk of COVID-19 to be essentially 0 then even the tiniest risk of vaccines outweighs that

The most widespread antivax rhetoric I see comes from Fauci and other apocalyptic “experts.” And they embolden traditional antivaxxers in a significant way. If Fauci’s message was reasonable, vaccine hesitancy would be far less.

I've yet to see Fauci say anything anti-vaccine. Being cautious about uncertainty is very different from promulgating myths

You know exactly what I mean. Your unwillingness to break with groupthink and criticize Fauci even when it’s necessary

I rarely watch American news, so I don't really know (or care) what he's saying. That clip you shared elsewhere in the thread was a bit conservative but not incorrect nor necessarily bad advice given the scale of the current US epidemic

If you can find me a clip where the man is saying something incorrect or wildly misleading I'll happily point it out, but tbh since you're mostly just insulting me at this point there's a decent chance I won't pay attention
