The number of deaths in Sweden is almost ten times higher than neighbouring Norway - adjusted to population size.
Just ask the Czechs.
Same thing was planned for México but without so much publicity. México has suffered half a million deaths, if counted by excess mortality. And we're still expecting a third wave... Natural infection has not helped to reach herd immunity at all.
I feel like Sweden has been over-politicised, and differences exaggerated. Its outcome is similar to other countries in Europe, better than Czechia, not as good as Germany. These claims come from quotes taken out of context, and Sweden being represented as a contrast to China.
