At the moment, we're happy to simply pause the offending vaccine, because there are other options. But it's neither impossible nor even unlikely that a serious side-effect occurring at a rate of 1/million will be found for all vaccines

(I'm not saying it will be ~the same~ side-effect, but that there is every possibility that we will uncover a different side-effect for other vaccines that happens very rarely. What then?)

Have been thinking the same thing. It would make decision making a lot easier.

mRNA vaccines are a far cleaner, sparser vaccine. For example, these rare platelet events in both AstraZeneca and J&J are related to adenovirus in the mix, according to Peter Hotez. No adjuvants either. Wave of the future!
