But what’s frustrating is that we *could* plan in advance how we want things to play out, within the confines of what we know & can control, & with cooperation with countries like NZ, Singapore, Taiwan. The cost/benefit will have to change according to what VOC are prevalent by the time we finish vaccinating, & how well our vaccines prevent against severe disease. IMH(non-expert) opinion, safest approach is for countries to agree on & share resources for eradication as end goal.
