Me: gets hepatitis, tetanus booster and rabies, yellow fever vaccinations before going overseas Odd people on twitter: we can't force people to get vaccinated before travelling, that's basically slavery

My personal opinion is that for international travel, vaccine passports are here to stay. I strongly suspect the passports for general everyday stuff will be gone by the end of the year

It makes sense to limit who can go to a theatre when you've got a massive ongoing epidemic and fully vaccinated people are (mostly) safe. But once 90%+ of the population is vaccinated, it's a different story

Except workplaces (and schools) I’d wager- many businesses will have no tolerance for staff outbreaks after what we’ve been thru. In the US the driver will be what state laws get passed to block the ability of employers to require the vaccine (especially once fully FDA approved)

But we essentially do it for school attendance. I doubt we will for other stuff, but that could be the critical step we need

Germans, like myself, have had vaccination passports all their lives and it isn't a big deal. people need to get their heads out of their butts https://handbookgermany.de/en/live/vaccination.html …
