One could argue that suicide is nearly zero if you disregard comorbidities, because there pretty much has to be a pre-suicide mental health morbidity. There might be some "rational suicides" (escaping intractable pain or near end of life and such) but that is not typical.

Not quite accurate - only about 60-70% of people who suicide have a diagnosed/diagnosable mental health disorder - but yes, it's why this sort of comparison is extremely ignorant
