I don't know how to drive. Fortunately, I KNOW that I don't know how to drive. If people had followed your 'a bit naive' advice, they would have put themselves & others at risk. Unless you're 100% sure that you can drive, don't get in the driver's seat. It's better for everyone
Your idea of being right and wrong lives in a lineal frame of mind (no harm done with either opinion). But with extreme events, being wrong and not knowing you are dealing with extreme events is highly dangerous (if you have a following)
