Actually, this contradicts your whole "COVID-19 is all false positives" schtick. If there was no COVID, R(t) would vary based on test numbers Also, of course, this is nonsense, R(t) varying AROUND 1 is totally different to R(t)=1https://twitter.com/ClareCraigPath/status/1374446364298407947 …

    Health Nerd added,

    Dr Clare Craig @ClareCraigPath
Without interventions, the R value for COVID is between 3.6 and 6.1. When there is no COVID, only false positives, the R=1, unless the test nos change or the false positive rate changes. The R value in Canada has been just above or below 1.0 throughout. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0022519321000436 … pic.twitter.com/6grHmBvivi

I guess this "It's just testing - so many false positives" nonsense will never end.

There’s a whole group of UK academics and elected politicians getting behind this message @ hartgroup_org it’s a horrible distortion of half truths and lies. A link to Australian PCR numbers and protocol would be an interesting comparison.

I find it interesting how many of the false positives are contacts of people who lost their sense of taste and smell.

And it’s just amazing how Australia seems to have solved the false positive problem.... 🤔

You hit the trifective with this one...anti-lockdown, antimask, anti-vaccine. Thank God they are as bad at epi as they are at understanding the basic physics behind masks. "They" used because while she is female, her gender has nothing to do with her twisting of science.

It's so strange how the false positives cluster in time and place. As though they were being caused by some unseen force that moves from person to person and correlates with illness and death. 🤔

Bad air enervates the humors. I read about it in Jane Eyre.
