Oh, the number is MUCH lower if you only look at reviewers. Of the three reviewers for the piece, Tara had a fairly large account prior to COVID-19, Bill had a tiny one, and I do not believe Marm had one at all

Then let's consider further - of they are intentionally selecting celebrities, why is the mean so much higher than the median? Take away 2-3 of their really high follower accounts and suddenly it's mostly just boring academics

And then let's go back and take another look at some of the accounts. Several of them were ONLY CREATED in 2020 by professors with relevant subject matter expertise. Is it a reasonable claim to say that they are "twitter celebrities"?

That's a bizarre argument. The fact checks are not amplified. They are hidden on a website few visit, and honestly I couldn't even find starting from Facebook initially. The verdict is amplified to millions, not the review

These fact checks will get 10,000s of views minimum, probably more. Most academics will never see that much media attention in their entire careers
