...exactly as you SHOULD approach any other study (with outside comment, and being careful to look for and include relevant context) which if you're a good science journo you're already doing, and if you aren't, you're probably gonna screw this up too.

&given twitter's role in it,do you think that there might be need or at least space for a sort of 'buffer' space btw preprints discussion on twitter & peer-review? Something like anonymous but edited&moderated commenting on preprint-servers or a new kind of scientific magazine? 2
