Yeah, that was my first thought on seeing just the table. I'm a tail-end Boomer & my own experience is that from GenX up, the older, the more hangups & denial. It's quite depressing.
I would argue that older generations had more time to figure out who they liked. Zs are 21 at most and quite a lot of people I knew who were self-identifying as bi (the category inflated in more granular polls) in high school have been heterosexual for quite some time now.
The interesting part is that the fraction of “strictly homosexual” has remained rock solid between the generations at around 14% since Gen X.pic.twitter.com/wmRWFrndfI
