also virologists: Challenge trials are unethical, we need to do the regular phase 3 that by definition takes a long time and requires a large number of the placebo group to contract covid anyway 400,000 americans: die before a single vaccine is approved

Extremely unethical would be most peoples view, and brings in major questions on how do u get ppl to volunteer for them etc ? also effectiveness isn't the only test of ph3 trials this also involves safety
