Or, is the virus currently spread among ~25% of the US population?
In other words, is IFR calculated on cumulative prevalence, or incidence of #SARSCoV2 infections?

Just making sure for a time-varying IFR you would count the deaths in a certain time and the infections in the same time otherwise, the IFR wouldnt bei correct, right ?

Yes precisely. You'd need an accurate estimate of how many people had been infected/died each week/day, which most places just don't have
