That extrapolation would only be valid if infections so far were spread evenly throughout the different risk groups. I'm not sure that's the case. The ballpark seems to be correct though.

Based on CDC data, it appears that infections are heavily skewed towards a younger population, which explains the slightly lower IFR than expected
