As I wrote recently, this is still not entirely definitive, but I think it does make a large benefit for vitamin D supplementation much less likelyhttps://coronavirus.medium.com/vitamin-d-and-covid-19-an-update-59fb2f9cceb5 …

I think most serious people seem to be interested in the benefits of a daily dose vitamin D supplement, not a single dose treatment.

Large single dose not useful as a hospital (severe disease) treatment. OK. But many would ask if a higher Vit D blood level through regular supplementation would reduce hospitalization risk in the first place. Seems much harder to test. But that's the study most would rather see

Yet another study analysing in hospital patients. As far as I can see, supporters of Vit-D are NOT claiming it will have any effect at this late stage of illness. They are claiming that Vit-D can have an effect at early stage, or even before infection

They are claiming multiple things then constantly moving the goalposts. It's what ideology does to people

Too late is too late. Take the dose vit.D before getting ill. Or go out in nature.

You’ll probably never understand the idiocy of modern science.
