Anyone know (health) insurance options for someone from Australia going on an urgent 1 or 2 week trip to the US? Travel insurance in general would be great, but Australian companies aren't offering it.

Really? Looks like TID offers cover? https://www.travelinsurancedirect.com.au/ (Much more expensive than before COVID-19, but that's not surprising)

Thanks - the first 3 places I looked: one excluded if Aus had a "No Travel" advisory, one only covered you if your policy was bought before the pandemic, and the other wouldn't even let you select an international location. Checking it out.
