Anyone know (health) insurance options for someone from Australia going on an urgent 1 or 2 week trip to the US? Travel insurance in general would be great, but Australian companies aren't offering it.
Really? Looks like TID offers cover? https://www.travelinsurancedirect.com.au/ (Much more expensive than before COVID-19, but that's not surprising)

Thanks - the first 3 places I looked: one excluded if Aus had a "No Travel" advisory, one only covered you if your policy was bought before the pandemic, and the other wouldn't even let you select an international location. Checking it out.

far down... "Our travel insurance will not cover you for losses arising from COVID-19 if you plan to travel to, travel to, or remain in a country or region for which the Australian Government has issued a ‘Do Not Travel’ warning in relation to COVID-19."
