I would guess, based on these figures, that there has been ~some~ protection of the elderly in the US, and that the population IFR lies around 0.7% Coincidentally, that's pretty much exactly our original estimate from the first meta-analysis:https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1201971220321809 …
