Amazing that someone can tweet something like this, which is both absolute nonsense and NOT EVEN RELATED TO THE SCREENSHOT, and it still goes viral The endless bullshit of COVID-19 denial https://twitter.com/AndySwan/status/1351975650521993221 …

What does "run twice" mean? "In other words, it is incredibly rare for a COVID-19 test that comes back positive to be a false positive. Almost unheard of. It happens, but very rarely, particularly because many tests are confirmed, i.e. run twice."

1/The concentration of primers used in developing the test are too high for optimal specific amplification of targets genes. The variations of primer pairs used in the CD paper mean tgatcdesign variations will lead to results are not sars-cov2 related.

2/ Suggesting labs could assume incorrectly they detected a + covid outcome. Using a formula that doesn't in fact detect covid, A reliable test requires gamification from 3 different Gene's (primers) of sars-cov2. The majority if worldwide testing only uses 2 primers

3/ 2 primer matches rather than 3. More than 50 virologists, epidemiologists discovered severe design flaws, since the test cannot distinguish between the while virus and viral fragments it cannot be used to as a diagnostic for sars-cov2. + test merely indicates

4/ the presence of viral material. On completion of amplification "biomolecular validation us essential to determine the presence of sars-cov2, since amplified PCR products can be anything. The CD papers protocols do not do so, thusxrendering PCR useless as diagnostic tool for CV

Ther arecmany other issues highlighted in the investigation and review of the CD PCR paper, too numerous to list here - Do not take this in any way personally. I am a sceptic looking for answers to some of the riddles posed by this pandemic.

This is an article about whether your test means that you're infectious, which isn't what we're looking for. We're primarily looking for exposure to track the spread so we know what's coming next. Since most testing is of people reporting symptoms this is moot anyway.
