as I understand it another good reason to roll out a vaccine even if it's only 60-70% effective is it will give us greater leeway with other interventions, even if it won't get us to herd immunity levels. ie lockdown/other restrictions can potentially be less strict w/ outbreaks

I vowed to never go back into science sorry!!!! (I am actually v interested in public health and epidemiology and if I did do more study it'd either be that or fungus mutualisms)
