Strangely enough most of Europe did the same in summer. Let's see how sparsely populated Australia fairs in the coming winter. And please stop comparing countries with completely different circumstances, it's not reality.

Winter in a sparsely populated 1/2 tropical country. It's an established fact virus's don't transmit well in tropical environments. Europe is not tropical at all, nowhere near!
