"But they didn't wear a mask" lots of people who DID wear a mask got COVID-19, it's not perfect protection, you can't apply morality to something that is largely out of your control

It is exactly the same vibe as "they ate cheeseburgers and now they've got diabetes", it is both more complex than that and totally unreasonable to blame physical illness on someone's moral stance

I have two co-workers who are the "don't get me sick" people to everyone. I am looking for a good line to use.

Agreed, unless they are wilful and intentional tRUMP COVID-19 super-spreader suicide volunteers . . . OR . . . Went to holiday parties in spite of a COVID-19 pandemic raging across the face of the planet . . . Especially on planes. Then I spare no kind thoughts for them.

That logic could just as easily be applied to MSM, PWID, or even vaccine hesitant parents. The aim is education, awareness, and safety; never ostracization.

Agreed, and worth adding that for some patients of some chronic illnesses, seeking recovery via integrative medicine and via avoidance of environmental triggers is not a moral failing either.

Strange to hear you say this. You’ve been shaming people left and right on here for their personal failings.
