And yes, for anyone interested in facts, most positive SARS-CoV-2 tests are true positives (even in the UK), this is not some conspiracy but actually quite simple mathematicshttps://gidmk.medium.com/most-positive-coronavirus-tests-are-true-positives-60c95fe54fec …

What do you say to the idea that a PCR test that confirms the presence of a particular RNA string in a sample is being used to confirm that a person is sick and/or infectious? Thats a 'false positive' to me....

That it's largely a non-issue for a number of reasons, not least that people who have recovered were indeed sick in the recent past and may still be infectious

What if they were not sick? - One of the 'Asymptomatic Positives'. I find it very hard to take the idea of asymptomatic infection seriously - and its hard to separate that from faults in the way that the PCR test is being interpreted (careful words) This is NOT a non-issue

There is very high quality evidence that truly asymptomatic people make up a fairly small minority of cases. I discuss this all in my recent piecehttps://gidmk.medium.com/covid-19-can-be-spread-without-symptoms-eb69d505356e …

You don't accept that a significant number of people who are 'asymptomatic' are simply not infected?

If, as you claim, a very small number of healthy people can be infectious to others, surely, in the bigger picture then, it is one of your "non issues".

Asymptomatic =/= healthy, that is just a very ignorant thing to say. Look up asymptomatic hepatitis if you do not believe me

By that definition, nobody is ever 'healthy' in your terms are they?
