"But he SAYS he's not anti-vaccine" Every anti-vaccine activist in the history of vaccinations has claimed not to be anti-vaccine It is a common trope, meant to mislead

Some excuses that are commonly given: "I'm not against vaccines in general, just THESE ones" "I'm pro SAFE vaccination" "I'm pro freedom, not anti-vaccine"

The point is if someone is promoting lies about vaccines and minimizing the diseases they prevent, you don't have to accept their word for it that they are really just pro-vaccine because they clearly aren't

Worrying thing this time is that it’s got a legal out. ...’If it turns out this gives you the shakes in two years time, you can’t sue us’. See : Mrs Merkel for shakes demo.

Meh, people get too hung up about legal issues imo. It is remarkably hard to prove in court that a vaccine harmed you, even if it probably did

The point is not whether people get ‘hung up’, or not. The point is that it doesn’t have the legal defences for citizens that thalidomide did.

In Australia, and many other countries, it took nearly 50 years for compensation for people harmed by thalidomide to be granted
