Thus far there have been somewhere around 1 million vaccinations and AFAIK no deaths associated with the vaccine For context, a 10yo has ~1 in 100,000 chance of death from COVID-19

Hilariously, my first tweet has a typo. Should read 1-3 in 200, not 100 Thanks for pointing this out everyone!

Hooray! 100% of us have had it and we're all 100% permanently immune! Zero people will die from it henceforth! Sigh.

Math is not a strength for many of them. They dont get what a 3 percent death rate is. They want to use total population rather then cases. Lol.

Varies widely based on location. There are some places in the US with an IFR of ~1.5%, some as low as 0.5%. This is mostly to do with age of those infected

Typo? 1-3% is the CFR not the IFR, right? e.g. Trevor Bedford gets a CFR in the 1.5-1.8% with 22d lag from testing. The IFR is around 0.7-1.0% given the accepted numbers (making unascertained infections about the same than the case rate) But that’s still 7x his IFR!

Oh right it is a typo! Should be per 200 not 100
