The UK version is almost relaxing at times! And having Ramsay himself narrate it really adds to the show. I remember there being a really good UK episode where the gist of it was helping a restaurant that was *too good* (i.e. far too expensive/fancy)

US is so formulaic and over produced. Comes in, food's bad, owners deluded, walk in is always disgusting, chaotic service , shouting (owners/chef), paints stuff, service gets off to a good start... wobble...ok again. In the days that followed...the end .
