Followup Q: Has the pandemic been associated with increase prescription rates for anti-depressants?

I would bet but idk. Anecdotally I know quite a few people who got on low dose antidepressants for the first time. Also anecdotally from work it seems like there's been an uptick in first manic episodes or schizophrenic breaks but I haven't heard that talked about.

I’ve seen a number of groups come out claiming these statistics are wrong but offering no evidence to support their counter claims. They say suicide and DV have increased but say it’s unreported.
-
DV is one thing, but suicides are usually investigated by the coroner and the stats, once finalized, are pretty reliable

Lot of people here (Missouri USA) trolling obits; trolling junior hs student's suicide news article, claiming the suicide over despair of wearing masks (wasn't). Local news outlet interview w/obviously mentally ill man claiming "dozens" of suicides over mask wearing, 0 evidence.
-
Suicides over mask wearing! Who makes this stuff up?

How many definite Covjd deaths would be a fair price to pay to save some uncertain suicides?

Shocker.

I have a suspicion its grown in some groups (addicts with little support) and decreased in others (people who don't have enough isolation/privacy to do it)
