- if this makes you want to leave Twitter, it makes no sense to reply to this tweet - deleting your account is a much more logical step

- as to deleting your account: QT/replies directly feed into Twitter's algorithm and ultimately make money for the company. If you don't want to be part of that, the only measure that the company will actually care about is lost revenue, so deleting your account is logical

As one of the social media giants with a huge monopoly on the social interaction of global society I don't think twitter has any kind of moral high ground for stifling debate, and they have more than overstepped the mark recently in terms of censorship..
..further to that, some of the points in question may be valid but will likely be used as an excuse to censor any opinion that flies contrary to the mainstream narrative on covid, which is probably the one most guilty of spreading misinformation

Twitter can do literally whatever they want, assuming it returns value to shareholders. I’m sure they have focus-grouped and corporate strategized their response to displease the fewest number of valuable thralls.
