Should note that this research does not differentiate causal impact, so it is very hard to know whether these interventions were themselves the cause of the drop in cases. Still, it is quite an interesting examination of the impact associated with them

This paper, like dozens of papers like it, cannot actually determine causal impact of any interventions. What were included as causal drivers (fig)? What about news reports? Word-of-mouth communications? I'd bet these are more important than most NPIs in influencing behavior.pic.twitter.com/YDz16c02Sx
