Well. 2 things. Every Dr. outside of mainstream said this happens when you suppress first wave. Many cases are false via the PCR test and won't result in as many deaths (I hope).

The Swedish exceptionalism was strong. Everyone (nearly) bought into the "we will continue as normal" with some caveats. The FB discussions with people in Sweden (I'm Swedish) were really intriguing. In many ways Sweden sees itself as a world leader. Perhaps naively.

But according to worldometers the 2nd wave is a lot less bad than the spring wave... and they’re doing better than Germany now, and deaths/million less than 24 other countries despite their light restrictions.pic.twitter.com/cFlmos0Nm1

Swedish data has a 14-day lag for deaths, it always looks like they are decreasing even when they are going up

That guys analysis aren't really great. He thinks that deaths follow cases with a 3w delay Regarding the situation in Stockholm that is with their more normal capacity. They haven't increased the number of beds like in the spring This is a translated text from today's updatepic.twitter.com/O4Shqf7uZc
