...It's a bit like the beach question I was asked a month or two ago. I reckon beaches are extremely safe places to be wrt COVID, but getting to/from, and the amenities AT the beach are not. Complex

Or sitting at an outdoor tennis court - the ventilation may be good but if the person sitting behind you is breathing directly over you for a couple of hours and they're infected..... and you have to go to the inside toilets that 1000's of people are using, covered walkways...

The Daily podcast interviewed someone who said she and her husband decided not to go to Sturgis because they had been there before and knew how much close contact occurs there. I read elsewhere that a lot of the contact at Sturgis occurs in bars and restaurants.pic.twitter.com/74wwZGCkN3
