There are quite a few other trials looking at similarly high doses tho, i.e. 100,000IU+10,000 per week: https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04483635?term=vitamin+d&cond=Covid19&draw=2&rank=5 … 10,000 per day for 3 days then 3,000 per day for 1 month:https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/show/NCT04536298?term=vitamin+d&cond=Covid19&draw=2&rank=2 …
Actually there were quite a few deficiencies with the study, which probably were due to the fact that it was a pilot rather than a full clinical trial. I wrote a bit about ithttps://coronavirus.medium.com/vitamin-d-and-covid-19-90f1d1493cc0 …

Yes. I had read this before. We will see after larger trial of calcifediol on hospitalized patients - but ALL are missing focus on link of low G6PD with all the various severe reactions (known in the past) & how Vit D & NAC help alleviate & when & what doses

I’m not looking for a ‘silver bullet’ but I do think it is unscientific the way that G6PD enzyme & G6PDd (genetic & acquired) has been ignored w/Covid19- despite evidence that a research & treatment focus on that may have saved many lives.
