I thought influenza was deadlier to children? What's the breakdown for those under 40 deaths? How many are adults and how many are children?

That was my question as well.

And in British Columbia overdoses have killed 5 times as many as COVID. We are living with 2 epidemics here.

Horrible statistics. Too many people rejecting safety protocols, thus spreading and getting this virus. Trump and his nutters are culpable in killing them, IMO.

Actually, could be more, if one assumes ~30% gets infected in a flu season. Using age-adjusted numbers from CDC (2014) one gets ~515 flu deaths <40 yo's 3-11% symptomatic flu cases: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1111/irv.12486 … + up to 75% asymptomatic cases, indicating 6-44% total flu infectionspic.twitter.com/GAnBlLqtFe

As of November 28th, there have been more deaths among Americans *age 40 and under* directly attributed to Covid-19 (4,674) than died as a result of the entire Iraq War (4,424).
We need to understand this.
