They are against regulation of any kind for any reason. They will be disingenuous at every level. It is 40 years of global warming “debate” compressed into a very small timeline.

The good news is that you can filter out those people. I suspect you must do that daily, if not hourly. I am confident your good reputation creates opportunities to discuss the pros and cons of government interventions with patient and smart people on all sides of the topic.
