Vit D supplement probably a good idea in winter in the Northern hemisphere as most of us indoor worker drones are deficient.
You clearly haven't taken my brilliant oleander and Chlorine dioxide immunity boosting cocktail!
I was always a big vitamin person, then started thinking they were a scam. But now, I do take an iron supplement and without it I get extremely bad nosebleeds on a daily basis. Within 1 day of not taking my iron, nosebleeds come back asap. I do have a vegan-like diet as well.
That seems a bit odd. The body can store about 3 years' worth of iron (from what I've read). If you're losing enough in 24 hours to cause bleeding problems, you either have a bigger problem you should be seeing a doctor about, or the iron supplements are causing is somehow.
I have been taking a broad spectrum A-Z and a 3,6,9 omega capsule for years & it didn’t stop me getting mild Covid. The supplements haven’t prevented the virus causing damage, so that I still have Covid symptoms after 7 weeks. Covid is a lottery.
You couldn't be more wrong. Vitamin D levels are crucial to both the innate and the adaptive immune system, and the vast majority of people in northern latitudes are deficient (< 30 ng/ml). Ideally you need >50 ng/ml. Adults need 4000 iu/day. See http://vitamindwiki.com for links

Zinc is also important for immune system health. Quercetin is a zinc ionophore (enables zinc to cross the cell membrane), like hydroxychloroquine. Multiple studies show the correlation between zinc serum levels and COVID outcomes...https://c19zinc.com/
