I think that's a bit useless tho tbh, because most riders spend a fraction of the time on the road so even if the per km risks are similar the actual risk is going to be magnified enormously for delivery drivers
Does that mean you're suggesting a higher standard of safety should be expected for people riding for work than those riding for other reasons? Obvs doing more of a risky activity increases overall risk, but I think all cyclists should expect a low(er) level of risk.
I cycle to work! I'd love it if cycling were a safer activity, and I think our current road system is a travesty wrt cyclists. I do think that this is still a bit different to people riding for work, because the comparison should ideally be a job
