Also worth noting that a vaccine that is 70% effective in the real world is still good enough to reach herd immunity so in practice it is probably not the deciding factor

Note that the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine can also spend at least 5 days in the fridge (possibly 14, is being tested at the moment). You therefore only need the ultracold freezers in regional distribution centres, not at each point of vaccination.

Actually, I don't think any of the developing countries are even considering Pfizer Biontech because of the impractical cold storage supply chain
