Nobody seems understand the macro level of anything anymore. If everybody even does a little bit, the aggregate effect is just enough to turn the tide. It’s just selfish. Meanwhile, my wife lost her grandmother to Covid today. It breaks my heart.

I disagree with this: "Masks probably won’t reduce your risk of infection by 50% or more” lab studies have shown that the level of protection varies significantly depending on the mask and fit. e.g. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamainternalmedicine/fullarticle/2769443 … a fitted N95 mask will reduce your risk substantially

and there is a big range between a bandanna (which will not do a whole lot to protect you and others) and a N95 mask, which is why I recommend KN95 masks (~80% effective in the JAMA study above) and KF94 masks
