I'm also a British Australian, and I don't really agree. In some cases of natural disaster, perhaps, but for most humdrum public health stuff Britain is not dissimilar to Australia I think

What I meant by that is I have lived half my reasonably long life in both places. The average Australian is, IME, far more rule abiding when it comes to public health. Anyway the respective statistics on Covid speak for themselves, even with confounding factors considered.
