We have great leadership, a strong public health system, and are fortunate in our geographic isolation to some extent. But we aren't a magical land of perfect compliance, that's the same nonsense that people were throwing around about South Korea and Vietnam

I think in comparison to the United States there’s definitely an argument we’re more compliant. Their citizenry is overtly libertarian. The people don’t like being told what to do even when it’s for the greater good. Take guns for example.
