I don't get the obsession with protecting young kids (or anyone below 50 for that matter) when they are at less mortality risk of COVID than flu and weak evidence to support kids transfer to parents/teachers (as opposed to vice versa)

I don't care what the PCR test is turning over. Ontario, a province of 13.5m people, is experiencing what looks like a plateau of 15 covid deaths per day, 10 of which are non-community LTC.

This is the deaths from Ontario public health. Ignoring the reporting lags, there is a pretty clear exponential increase there. I suspect if you averaged the weekly increase even with the reporting lag it would be an exponential functionpic.twitter.com/m4NMhysfSS

What a ridiculously ignorant thing to say. Academia is one of the hardest-hit areas, especially where I live. I know many people who have lost their jobs. I personally have been paid $0 for all of my work thus far on COVID-19
