The saddest thing about this whole concept is that it pops up in EVERY place where cases spike and deaths lag. Warnings from those who point to places where this already played out are seldom heeded. As if each country is an island unto itself, adrift in a vacuum of information.

Typically not just lag but big decreases in CFR as well. Docs are getting progressively better results.

It presents some useful information, but I find this article a lame take on the cases/fatalities. Author glosses over the declines in CFR which is as important as increased testing in explaining the perception of lots of cases but scant deaths. CFR has decreased by factor of 10!

The factor of 10 decrease in CFR that I cite is US specific and probably much worse than AUS ever experienced.
