Ok #epitwitter I'm sure everyone needs a distraction, so tell me what your favorite (or should I say LEAST favorite?) type of study bias is and whypic.twitter.com/sw4tn6VWNl

Personally, I find survivorship bias to be fascinating. The idea that you can be mislead because of something that happened well before you did your study is really interesting, and it leads to such counter-intuitive findings

Collider bias. Because I think it happens a lot more than we appreciate, and I'm still struggling to understand it, so it's still interesting and nonobvious.

Yes collider bias is really hard to wrap your best around! I honestly don't think I would've understood it if not for #epitwitter

Recall bias because people mistake it routinely & it too fascinates me and I want to know more about how you can control for it!

Recall bias is so hard! One of the things that you really have to take into account before you start collecting data which makes it extra difficult
