Interesting how many people are angry at their governments for considering another lockdown rather than because they've failed to take actions sufficient to prevent another lockdown

Lots of people replying with "but you can't contain the virus using NPIs!" to which I reply look up Taiwan, Vietnam, New South Wales, or one of the many places that has indeed done that

Because some people are confused at the tweet - I am not blaming individuals for the resurgence of infections, it is the governments who have failed to take action

That's because they consider it not their fault, but everyone else's.

Computer administrator dilemma, you don't get credit for all the disasters you avoided but you get all the gripping when the system fails regardless of whos responsible.

Individualism has taken over there isn't a sense of collective anymore its a shame little more community spirt around the world would go a long way to fighting Covid.

That’s EXACTLY why I’m angry personally. They had their chance to be ready for this. They aren’t. Another lockdown? Fine… but what are you going to do during it so this doesn’t keep happening?

Nothing, just hoping a vaccine is rolled out before they repeat the same mistakes again. The public have had mixed messages from Gupta and the 'herd immunity' bunch of which the media has given them far too much credibility and airtime. Daily Mail and Times are the worse.

And in here Switzerland many people are angry that the government did not introduce tougher measures instead of always emphasizing the importance of social distancing and hygiene rules. They hold them responsible for the current very high numbers. Somebody is always angry .

Preventable deaths tend to make people angry. Not getting a haircut shouldn't.
