My former boss never demanded that people come to work when sick. Yet colleagues came coughing and sneezing and few days later everyone was sick.

"Not sick enough to miss work, but sick enough to infect others" That category of illness can now well-and-truly be managed with the current work from home infrastructure that has been bolstered this year

What are you supposed to when you catch a cold now? When anyone does? Get tested?

Here in Australia we are being encouraged to do exactly that. Feels odd to be honest as we've previously been expected to work with anything short of pneumonia or loss of limb.
