This is complete and utter nonsense. If cases are rising+accelerating, BY DEFINITION the disease has not reached a herd immunity threshold of any kind https://t.co/dJCj3MlFac

As I read it, his contention is that there are essentially no cases, it's all false positives, due to inexperienced staff and crap assays. I mean, sounds like utter bollocks to me, and doesn't explain why the hospitalization and deaths curves are rising...

He explains it with "this always happens in autumn". Well, but it doesn't happen that early and that strongly. Maybe Harry Kennard can revive his excellent graphs when excess deaths return, to get an impression of how "normal" the increase in deaths is.https://twitter.com/HarryKennard/status/1260127345756815361 …

The IFR was recently taken down quite a few notches. WHO has now conceded and published this despite sitting on it since May. I look forward to the day they also acknowledge the RCT on masks from Denmark which spookily all journals refuse to publishpic.twitter.com/GWamEC0T8s

He is saying most of the hospital admissions are false positives but has yet to explain whether they continue to show classic COVID coagulopathy (c50 min in Delinggpole pod). I addresss other factual errors in this thread exchange.https://twitter.com/vrsimility/status/1317881740371918848?s=20 …

Do you believe the PCR results are to be trusted given they are obtained at cycling rates of 40 instead of the recommended 20 rate? Do you believe false positives are a major issue or no problems?

Prior immunity, pre existing immunity is a given. We have gained it from exposure to other coronaviruses and unlike antibodies T cells are long lasting as the people who still have them 17 years after SARS 1 demonstrates. Why are you so alien to the truth?

He’s hardly alone there -virologists have been pointing this out for a while.https://twitter.com/profshanecrotty/status/1293344524731691008 …

No way man, a really smart economist told me the science behind how novel infectious diseases work, and I believe it.

Do you have a thread on the T cells misrepresentation? I bookmark threads from you and others to use(and of course I read it too). So dual reasons.
